How my hyperfixation turned into a brand. Zero regrets.

Hey, I’m Mandy! I spent years as an artist, totally immersed in creating every day to quiet my crazy busy brain—and I knew there was no way I could ever go back to a traditional 9-to-5. Then, when my little one was born, I discovered the ultimate self-care ritual: once a month, I’d get my nails done, and man, that dopamine boost was pure magic!

Soon enough, my craving for unique, Pinterest-level nail art grew so powerful that no local salon could keep up with the wild designs brewing in my head. So I did what any fearless creative would do—I ordered my first nail supplies and dove right in. I’d get in the zone, paint for hours, and suddenly, my fingertips were buzzing with energy like never before.

It didn’t take long before friends and family started clamouring for their own custom nail art. Realizing that this passion was more than a fleeting hobby, I decided to level up and study with Lisa from @kova_nails_education . I fell in love with the art of detailed cuticle work.

Naming my little studio was a whole other adventure. I wanted a name that captured that heady feeling of being obsessed, that addictive creative rush—just like my dream clients, the fierce, hyperfixated souls who aren’t into small talk but big ideas. And so, Mandy’s Hyperfixated Nail Studio was born—a space for those who live with unstoppable creative energy!
